I saw this detail in a painting hanging up at a local library, and I had to stop and just laugh at the absurdity. Fine. Maybe YOUR herding dog would sit this close to a chicken without losing her goddamn mind. Maybe YOUR herding dog would be all, HI LITTLE CHICKEN FRIEND! That's awesome for you and your awesome herding dog.
In my backyard that chicken would be holding a gun.
