Seeing the popularity of game consoles like Xbox and Playstation, Valve reportedly preparing a similar game console with the name of Steam Box.

Valve claims that Steam Box would be a serious competitor for Microsoft?s Xbox since their game console has been provided with the latest hardware.

Valve Steam Box game console powered with CPU Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM memory, and graphics technology from NVIDIA. Unfortunately not known when the launching of this Steam Box console.

Valve is currently rumored to be pursuing a strategy that puts their console to open gaming universe which is open opportunities for external parties to develop the Steam Box game console.
